The BC Craft Farmers Co-op and Retail Cannabis Council of BC are excited to start the 30-day countdown to the second annual BC Cannabis Summit happening on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan People in Kelowna, BC from April 21-23.

Less Than 100 Passes Remain

Interest in this year’s event is very high. Unfortunately, fewer than 100 delegate spots are left. If you plan to attend this event, we recommend purchasing your pass as soon as possible. VIP rates are still available for BCCFC and RCCBC members.

Limited Partnership Opportunities Remain

Like the delegate passes, there are a very limited number of booth and partnership opportunities available. If you are interested, contact us at assistantsecretary@bccraftfarmerscoop.com.

More lead partners will be announced next week. In the meantime, the planning committee is finalizing the trade show floor plan this week with the welcoming team at the Eldorado Resort.

More Speakers to be Announced Soon

Over the past month, we have confirmed two featured speakers for this year’s event:

BC’s Deputy Premier Hon. Mike Farnworth is scheduled to provide a keynote address. Minister Farnworth is one of Canada’s most respected elected officials and BC’s lead Minister for the cannabis file.

BC’s Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism and the BC Premier’s Special Advisor on Youth, and Nelson-Creston MLA, Brittny Anderson, will also speak at the Summit. Brittny is a long-time cannabis advocate and was recently assigned special responsibilities for the development of a BC agri-tourism strategy for cannabis.

The Summit’s Day One agenda and more featured speakers will be released next week.
