Colin Carson, CEO, Tourism Prince George

Colin was born and raised in Prince George and has been working for Tourism PG for the last 6 years, stepping in as CEO 2021. Colin is passionate about all things Prince George and Northern BC and is proud to call the area home. 

In addition to his leadership at Tourism Prince George, Colin also assumes the role of Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors for the BC Destination Marketing Organization Association, furthering his commitment to advancing tourism initiatives across the province.

Lisa Hoy, Co-Founder, The Hazy Camper

Lisa is a passionate advocate for premium, consistently dosed cannabis edibles. Alongside her sister, Andrea, Lisa embarked on this journey fueled by their personal experiences with breast cancer diagnoses. Both found solace and relief from the side effects of treatments and medications through cannabis edibles. Their mission is to make high-quality products accessible to both medical patients and recreational users alike. At the upcoming event, Lisa will share her insights from a microprocessor perspective, offering a front-line view of the cannabis industry in BC, particularly focusing on craft cannabis.

Andrea will take part in the Saturday afternoon session on Compassionate Cannabis. As a panelist, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion on ongoing medical access to cannabis. The panel will discuss critical questions about the relevance of special medical access post-prohibition, the potential role of medical access in addressing the overdose crisis, and the necessity of maintaining a medical access program. Andrea’s insights will contribute to a comprehensive exploration of compassionate cannabis practices.

The 2024 BC Craft Farmers Cannabis Summit is set to take place at the Ramada Hotel in Prince George, British Columbia. The final session on Sunday, April 21, is expected to conclude by 11:45 am, allowing delegates to depart early.

There are two rate categories for the three-day 2024 BC Craft Farmers Cannabis Summit:

  • For BC Craft Farmers Co-Op Members and Independent Cannabis Retailers:
    Three-Day Pass: $94.20 plus tax

  • For Non-BCCFC Members and the General Public (Adults Only):
    Three-Day Pass: $144.20 plus tax

All passes include:

  • Unlimited access to all panels and presentations.
  • Entry to the Trade Show, showcasing the latest in cannabis innovation.
  • Invitation to exclusive networking events, connecting you with industry leaders.
  • Post-event access to recordings of panels and presentations.

Showcase Opportunities:
BCCFC has a limited number of booth and display space available for cannabis sector supporters. Like admission and Summit partnerships, BCCFC members and independent retailers receive reduced rates for booths and displays.
