We are pleased to share with you our official response to Health Canada’s proposed amendments to the Cannabis Act, as detailed in the Canada Gazette, Part I. This document reflects our collective efforts to ensure that the voices of BC’s craft farmers are heard and that the regulatory environment supports the growth and sustainability of our industry.
From navigating complex regulations to competing with larger entities, the proposed changes aim to reduce some of these burdens, particularly for micro-producers and processors, allowing us to better serve our communities and maintain BC’s leading position in the cannabis market.
