Kelowna (British Columbia)/Syilx (Okanagan) – The Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers (ACCRES) and BC Craft Farmers Co-op (BCCFC) today announced that cannabis technology company, Dutchie, will co-host the BC Cannabis Summit this spring in Kelowna, BC. ACCRES and BCCFC are inviting craft cannabis stakeholders across BC and Canada to “roll it up and hash it out” together in BC’s Okanagan Valley from April 20 to 22, 2022.
“We are very excited to announce Dutchie as co-host of our first BC Cannabis Summit,” said ACCRES Executive Director, Jaclynn Pehota. “With Dutchie’s support, we will organize a safe and memorable event this spring that will showcase our sector’s innovative spirit, shape cannabis policy and celebrate the excellence of BC craft farmers and retailers.”

The BC Cannabis Summit will take place at the Eldorado Resort, Kelowna’s finest full-service waterfront resort, featuring two hotels beautifully located on the shores of Lake Okanagan, minutes from downtown, golf, wineries, and ski resorts. The Eldorado Resort has provided a variety of special rates and accommodation options for Summit participants.

A planning committee is organizing other partnership opportunities, keynote speakers, Summit agenda and policy process. Details will be announced over the coming weeks.
An online portal has been established at bccannabissummit.ca to register for the Summit, take advantage of partnership opportunities, and book guestrooms at Eldorado Resort – Manteo and Hotel Eldorado – at special rates. ACCRES and BCCFC members receive VIP rates. Public health orders will be respected at all times.
ACCRES is a non-profit, member-driven industry association that represents more than 100 storefronts across BC. It is the goal of the organization to serve as a positive, proactive advocate to protect and expand business opportunities for the private cannabis retail industry. Building a thriving and sustainable private cannabis retail industry in BC is the Association’s primary focus.
BCCFC was founded in 2020 to provide B.C.’s small cannabis producers and processors with s safe, accessible, and sustainable alternative to the illicit market, while ensuring B.C.’s top position as an international cannabis leader and innovator is maintained. BCCFC is led by over 200 highly-skilled members and supporters who are working to accelerate market access for B.C.’s legendary micro-cultivators, processors, and independent retailers.
