The BC Craft Farmers Co-Op planning committee for the 2024 BC Craft Cannabis Summit is pleased to unveil more speakers for the event happening in Prince George from April 19th to 21st.

Earlier this month BCCFC confirmed MP Patrick Weiler and Dr. Susan Dupej as keynote speakers.

Today we are pleased to confirm:

BC Craft Cannabis Keynote Speaker: John W. Conroy, K.C.

John W. Conroy, K.C., Conroy & Company

John is one of Canada’s most respected legal cannabis advocates. His direct contribution to the reform of Canadian cannabis legislation started shortly after he was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1972. He has appeared on this issue before various Parliamentary and Senate Committees, incorporated the National Organization for the Reform of the Marijuana Laws in Canada (NORMLCANADA) in 1977 and the BC Compassion Club Society in 1997.

BC Craft Cannabis Keynote Speaker: Mike Schilling, CEO

Mike Schilling, CEO of Community Savings Credit Union

Mike has been CEO of Community Savings since 2018.  Community Savings is celebrating 80 years of service to British Columbians in 2024.  Thanks to Mike’s leadership, Community Savings is the largest provider of banking services to BC’s cannabis sector, across growers, producers, retailers and ancillary businesses. Mike is a vocal advocate on creating the right policy environment and banking infrastructure for the legal cannabis industry.
