In the fall of 2020 with our encouragement, the BC’s Agriculture Ministry initiated a project to develop a common set of good production guides for small cannabis farmers.  The goal was to create some basic templates that could streamline the complicated federal licensing process and reduce high consulting fees farmers were being asked to pay for assistance with this process.

In response, a dedicated group of BCCFC members decided to put in a proposal to develop the guides based on their significant experience. They were successful and have been developing these tools over the past year. We are pleased to share the new Good Production Practices Guide (GPP) below, also published on BC’s Cannabis Regulatory Navigator.
