The BC Ministry of Finance does not consider the legal cultivation of cannabis a farm activity. BCCFC volunteer Secretary, David Hurford, was interviewed on CBC Radio West last week about how BC’s world-renowned craft cannabis farmers are being denied tens of thousands of dollars in tax exemptions. Farm status for BC’s craft farmers was one of the priority resolutions from last year’s BC Cannabis Summit. We look forward to hashing out more issues together in Kelowna on April 21-23.
